Soyoung Kang is a graduate student pursuing her Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering at Penn state. She received B.S and M.S in Nuclear Engineering from Hanyang University in Korea. Her research focuses on hydrogen issues in cladding materials. She is especially studying the effects of the hydride rim on the ductility of cladding by using ring compression tests. During her spare time, she enjoys yoga and watching movies. She also likes to travel and enjoy new experiences.
